Over the years I’ve done a lot of random things that aren’t (entirely) frontend development. Here’s some of them.

Developer resources

The placeholder.rocks logo, featuring the text 'placeholder rocks' with a star between the two words, styled to resemble the Steven Universe logo.

placeholder.rocks

Rockin’ placeholder images featuring the characters from Steven Universe (who are sentient alien rocks, geddit?)

Pinkie Pie, a bright pink pony from the My Little Pony television series, looking at and motioning to the reader.

placeponi.es

A placeholder image generation service using characters from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

Communities

Illustration of many pony characters, both canon and original creations, celebrating together.

Severn Bronies

Operating regular social events for pony-inclined people in south west England and south Wales since 2012.

Screenshot of Doctor T'Ana, a Caitian character from Star Trek (a humanoid cat species) performing a wrestling move on a human.

Star Trek Furs

Barq and Discord-based community for fuzzy Star Trek fans.

A variety of hearts arranged in a repeating pattern. The hearts allude to different objects and materials, including rubber, textiles, clothing, machines, and digital programs.

Synthetic Society

An invite-only community for people with non-human, non-biological identities. Comes with bits and bobs.

Isometric 3D screenshot of a Minecraft world.

Darn Blimps

A public Minecraft server that I used to operate in the early 2010s, now preserved in perpituity.

Educational

Black screen with thin white text on it asking 'got bats?' in the style of the 'got milk?' advertisements.

BatsBatsBats

A Mastodon bot that posts a freely-licensed photo of a bat approximately every hour.

The WikiFur logo, a paw print embedded within another paw print.

WikiFur

Long time volunteer and curator of the primary online encyclopedia for subjects relating to the furry fandom.

Graphic design

Logo in the style of the Minecraft logo, but it reads 'Spectracraft' instead and uses rainbow colouration. 'Season 1' is written below it in a texture resembling Minecraft logs.

Spectracraft

Logo design for a private Minecraft server.

A black background with three radio buttons, reading 'male', 'female', and 'robot'. The third one is checked.

Merchandise

I’ve occassionally made things and put them up for sale on RedBubble. Get 'em on a sticker or something.
